Getting involved at New Life helps you become part of our church family, a community in which you can grow spiritually and exercise the gifts and talents with which God has blessed you. We hope that one of the groups and activities listed here will help you connect—at New Life.

FYI: Most New Life small groups, discipleship classes, and ministries are active primarily from September through May, corresponding to the school year.

Ministries

• Discovering New Life (DNL), led by Pastor Dutch VanderVlucht and wife Cindy, helps Newcomers learn about New Life, clarify what God is doing in their lives, and connect with others to grow spiritually.
• Life Groups consist of 12 to 18 people who meet regularly, providing opportunities for members to form lasting friendships and encourage one another in their faith.

• Linked Up! Ladies enables women to network so they can identify—and work together on—opportunities to minister to one another and the church. The group meets several times a year to fellowship and work on ministry projects.
• Man to Man helps men grow into healthy, active, mature Christians who serve their families and the church. Man to Man meets the second Monday of the month from September through May.
• Men's Adventure Ministries is for younger men interested in taking part in action/adventure-oriented activities.
• Moms' Group gives women of all ages the opportunity to encourage one another and share resources that can help them build strong relationships within their family. The group meets on the last Tuesday of the month.
• TGIF Men's Ministry meets regularly each Friday morning to encourage one another in their faith.

• Cleansing Stream equips believers to walk balanced, orderly lives in the power of the Holy Spirit.
• God Owns It offers participants Biblically based resources that enable them to break free from the bondage of financial indebtedness.
• Love and Respect and Shepherding a Child's Heart are two separate classes designed to strengthen families by sharing God's viewpoint on marriage and parenting.
• Sunday Adult Discipleship Class meets at 9 am, during the first service.
• Monday Bible Study is offered at 1 pm and 7 pm.
• Women of the Word (WOW) is a group that meets Tuesday mornings to explore faith-building Bible studies.

• Connections volunteers—aka "Connectors"—help newcomers become part of our church family.
• Ushers extend welcome and friendship to visitors and members alike. They also create and manage an environment in which people can worship without distractions.

If you love young people, there's a place for you in one of these ministries:

• Children's Registration workers assist visitors who bring children to church by registering each child and introducing the family to the nursery and/or child's classroom.
• Nursery volunteers care for children ages 3 and under during Sunday and Wednesday services so their parents can worship without distraction.
• Sunday Children's Ministry volunteers lead Sunday morning classes for children ages 3 through the 5th grade.
• Safari Sunday workers provide an interactive Bible-themed adventure for toddlers and preschoolers on the last Sunday of months with five Sundays.
• Royal Rangers' and Girls Ministry's adult leaders work, respectively, with boys and girls to help them develop Christian character. These groups meet Wednesday nights during the school year.
• Student Ministry workers lead a middle school Sunday morning class and Sunday evening meetings and group outings for middle and high school students.
