When you arrive. You'll be welcomed at the door by friendly ushers who will give you a Connection Card that contains information for Newcomers. Don't be surprised if others greet you, too. Parking information.
If you need assistance or directions. Ask anyone wearing a New Life nametag.
If you have kids. To register your children for our nursery, preschool, or Sunday School classes (kindergarten through middle school), visit Children's Registration just off The Lodge. If your children are under age 3, you may leave them in the care of our infant or toddler nursery workers before the service starts. If your children are age 3 through middle school, they should remain with you through the beginning of the service; once we finish singing, they can go to their classrooms. New Life's middle school and senior high youth groups meet during the school year on Sunday nights at 6 pm at The Lodge at New Life.
Tell us you're here. Please, fill out the attendance side of the Connection Card so we have a record of your visit. It will be collected during the service.
About our service. Our service begins with a song, followed by announcements, praise and worship, and a message from Pastor Dutch or a guest speaker. During praise and worship, singers and musicians lead us in several songs that express our love and gratitude to God. We stand during worship and praise, but feel free to sit it if that's more comfortable for you. When worship and praise are over, children ages 3 through middle school should go to their classrooms. Then Pastor Dutch or a guest speaker presents a message, or sermon.
If we have communion or group prayer. At the end of most services, Pastor asks everyone to come to the front of the sanctuary to pray together. Some Sundays, we take communion, which is a reminder of our relationship with Christ. In either case, we'd love to have you join us, but no one will look at you funny if you don't.
About giving money. We don't take a collection during our service. If you'd like to give, please place your gift in one of the three black mailboxes by the Sanctuary exits.
Meet us at The Lodge. Before and after each service, free donuts and coffee await! The Lodge is a great place to meet people, too.
Don't forget your FREE chocolate. After the service, please pick up a free box of Dietsch's chocolate at the Welcome Center in the foyer. It's our way of saying Thanks to you for coming.
