The six-session Cleansing Stream Seminar, along with the Cleansing Stream Event, is designed to empower and equip adult Believers to develop their relationship with God—be they new Christians or veteran Believers who feel stuck in their walk with Him. Participants learn how to gain freedom from issues that prevent spiritual growth, discover God-given gifts that can help them reach others, and find how to become the person He meant them to be.
FINANCIAL COACHING GROUP
The purpose of this group is to support our congregation at New Life by empowering them to make wise money decisions. Classes offered by this group are open to anyone who wants support and coaching in their personal finances.
The mission of this class is to help adult women discover and face their hurts, hang-ups, and habits so they can make healthy choices to overcome them—thus transforming their lives.
LOVE & RESPECT
Open to married and single adults 18+, this class helps spouses gain a Biblical understanding of the different needs of husbands and wives. (Husbands want respect; wives want love.) By help unfolding the mystery of how men and women think and see situations differently—differently, not wrong—spouses learn to better love and understand each other. Love & Respect, which is usually offered in the Fall, is a prerequisite for Building Blocks of Love & Respect, usually held in the Spring.
MONDAY AM & PM BIBLE STUDY
This group for adults meets during the school year to study the Bible, focusing on one book at a time. Its purpose: to grow, learn more about the Lord and serve Him with knowledge. To accommodate busy schedules, identical sessions are held in the morning and evening. Everyone in the group is also invited to gather for lunch on the first Friday of the month.
SUNDAY ADULT DISCIPLESHIP CLASS
Everyone—no matter their current level of Biblical understanding—can benefit from this class, which is designed to help people better understand Scripture from its original meaning, and within the context of geography, culture, history, politics, and other factors in play at the time it was written. Open to anyone in high school or older who want to better understand the Biblical text. Classes are held at 9 am on Sundays in Room 302 during the school year.
